New Feature: Open an Account Online

We've enhanced CSe-Banking (online banking) and the myCSE mobile app to give you the ability to submit an account application online! The eligible account types are Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and Club Accounts (Special Purpose, Vacation Club, or Christmas Club).

How to Access This New Feature:

CSe-Banking (online banking)

  1. Once logged in to CSe-Banking, click on + New Account, then on the Open an Account option that pops up underneath.
  2. For the Member ID, choose your primary member number from the drop-down list, then click Continue. Important Note: You are only able to open an account under your primary membership. If you select a member number in which you are the joint owner or if you select an IRA, the application will be rejected.
  3. Follow the prompts to start a new application. You may request to open multiple accounts within a single application! For example, you may choose to open a CD and a Special Purpose account at the same time.
  4. Once your application has been approved and your account has been funded, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that your account has been opened. (Your funded account will typically be opened within 1-2 business days).
  5. When your account is opened, you will be able to view your new account within online/mobile banking.

myCSE Mobile App

  1. Once logged in to the myCSE mobile app, click on Open an account (under Quick Links). Or, click on the More icon at the bottom right of the screen, then click on Open an account (under Services).
  2. A pop-up window will ask if you wish to exit the current application. Click OK.
  3. A new window will open in your device's web browser. Follow the prompts to start a new application. You may request to open multiple accounts within a single application! For example, you may choose to open a CD and a Special Purpose account at the same time.
  4. Once your application has been approved and your account has been funded, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that your account has been opened. (Your funded account will typically be opened within 1-2 business days).
  5. When your account is opened, you will be able to view your new account within online/mobile banking.
